Your 'Jiffy Thick & Quick' is ideal for teaching a child to knit. They love its soft fluffy feel, and because it works up quickly, they can see and enjoy the results of their project in a day or two. My grandson, Connor, wanted to knit himself a hat, and so I created a simple hat pattern that he completed while on a "sleep-over at Nana's." I've included pictures of him knitting his hat and proudly modeling his completed project. By the way, my 5-year old granddaughter Morgan, not be be outdone by her older brother, knitted a blanket for her doll also using your 'Jiffy Thick & Quick'. I've included pictures of her too. You've developed a great yarn that would lend itself quite nicely to a packaged Beginner's Knitting Kit aimed at the beginning knitter -- child and adult alike. I'd be pleased to give you my pattern if you have an interest.
