Fluffy Little Sheep
Created By: Orit Presser
Craft: knit
Materials: I used Lion Brand Homespun Sierra for Mathilda's body and a rust colored yarn for her head, ears and legs. I tweaked the instructions and made french knots for eyes with black yarn and then used some scrap yarn for her mouth. Mathilda was made with cream colored yarn and black yarn for her head, ears and legs, with brown eyes and mouth. Both were stuffed with acrylan. I used 5 mm needles to knit and a crochet hook to pull the ends and knots of the yarn into the body.
Pattern Source: lionbrand: Pattern #: L10204

I hand knitted (not by machine) these two sheep, using different colors and yarns. For the first time, I left my comfort zone of knitting and purling and learned to make the loops! I was so excited, I brought them to work and they sit now on my desk. I named them Molly and Mathilda. Molly is the cream colored and Mathilda is the curlier yarn, who looks more "calypso." I'm truly delighted to share them with you and thank you Lion Brand for this amazing site!
