Cable luxe tunic
Created By: Susan Benas
Craft: knit
Materials: I used Vanna's Choice 100% acrylic, 14 skeins to make the large. Size eight needles and size 7 circular needle, cable needle and split ring markers and a large blunt end large eye needle to sew it together.
Pattern Source: lionbrand: Cable Luxe Tunic

I saw this pattern a few years ago and fell in love with it and I a finally decided to tackle it last fall. By That time they had all the corrections in the pattern. I had ten skeins of Vanna's Choice yarn but needed14 skeins for this project. I called Lyon brand yarn and gave them the color dye lot and name and they sent me 4 more skeins. I had decided if they didn't match exactly I could do different sections in the different yarn. I was ready to knit and that I did, off and on through the winter. The yarn matched perfectly even though it was a different dye lot but I still did the yoke and one sleeve in the newer yarn. The yoke took concentration but came out nice and after you got going on the bodice the pattern wasn't difficult. I just love it and have had several compliments each time I have worn it.
