This hat is from the Lion Brand Babysoft knit stripes and Pompoms Toddler Hat and Sweater Pattern. The hat looks so plain until you put it on a child (or doll) and then it is really adorable. I've made two. I've only begun knitting this year and this gave me some confidence with changing colors -- everything did stay together. In this photo, the doll's head is smaller than the child's head would be, so it be more snug on the child.
