I don't have much occasion to wear a billowy cowl draped over my shoulders. I plan to make a neck gaiter the same way, with a narrower diameter and one skein, to fit better amid layers. It's wooly enough to be warm pulled up around the nose, and airy enough that glasses don't fog up as much as with a more solid fabric.
