Materials: Superwash worsted wool (Washable Ewe), size 7 needles, cable needle.

Well written pattern that was a lot of fun to make. The instructions were clear and it knit up quickly and turned out adorable. I found it a little narrow but incredibly stretchy so it is an excellent garment for a growing child.
I am casting on again but will add 5 stitches on each side for the button band (and slip 1st stitch pw) rather than pick up stitches at the end. Since it is garter anyway - if I needed a ribbed band to match the hem I would still pick up.
