Pond Alligator!

Recently Lion Brand posted the pattern for a "Pond Alligator" in their newsletter, and as a Floridian, I simply had to have one! I wasn't able to use the colors suggested, as my store didn't carry them, so I used Homespun "Country" for the green and "Roccoco" for the contrasting color. The pattern was a lot of fun to make. Had a few minor adjustments to make here and there, but it came out great don't you think? My 12 year old son is holding the 'gator (which we've named "Knit Knack") in one picture, to show it's size. When he saw it all finished, he exclaimed "It looks REAL!" Thank you, Lion Brand for such a fun project!!
