Great for inexperienced knitters to try different stitches--the variety is fun to knit. I made two (for my sisters)in Lion Cotton, in seaspray and periwinkle, using size 9 needles. The texture shows beautifully and they drape well. I substituted a diamond pattern for the Textured Stitch as this is the only one of the four stitches that has an obvious wrong side, and I prefer to have the scarf appear reversible. I definitely will use this pattern again in cotton, and probably in wool as well.
