Rainbow Circle Baby Afghan

As you may know, Australia is nicknamed "Oz". In late 2003, some "Ozzie" friends were expecting a baby girl. I made a round baby afghan for her in the rainbow colors of Homespun. I had trouble finding a round baby afghan pattern, so I simply worked in the round, increasing as needed, making color bands of equal width.
I used one skein of each color. There's probably enough left of each to make another baby afghan by reversing the color order.

I am a fan of the television series "Stargate SG-1" and have attended a few fan conventions since 2002. These photos were taken with series leads Chris Judge (#3) and Michael Shanks (#4) at the Creation Entertainment Official Stargate Convention, Feb. 2005, Dallas, TX. The yarn is Lion Brand Color Waves 398, Pebble Beach.
The project eventually became a long diagonal shawl that I use at work. (Offices are often too cool due to air conditioning in South Texas!) I will send a photo and description of the finished shawl at a later date.
