I made this using 2 shades of purple double strands (to make it extra warm). I modified the scarf part to be wider for warmth also. The original pattern used a Eyelash type yarn but once again I was looking for the warmth factor. I made this for my daughter's Senior/Ambassador Girl Scouts Troop Leader. She worn this when they went camping one weekend and there was a strong cold wind storm - she loved it. She also uses this for her early morning walks.
