Knitting Frenzy
First Grandchild!! I was in a knitting-frenzy! My favorite project was the "Child's Knitted Jumper". I fell in love with the picture on the yarn label, and finished it quickly, because I couldn't wait to see the result. I found a pattern for a 'beret' in my Grandmother's old knitting books, and added a little flower top [I crocheted a chain of the edging pattern on the jumper pattern.] Tegan is only 8 months old, but we couldn't wait to put it on her!
[Surprisingly, my son, Tegan's Daddy, said, "why don't you knit something for me??" So I did. Quite another project, but I used the same color yarn, but 4-ply.]
My Daughter-in-law wants me to make one in the next size now!! Just have to decide on the color.
