6 Skeins of Vanna White Silver Blue MC (main color)
1 Skein of Vanna White Chocolate CA (color A)
1 Skein of Vanna White 125 Taupe CB (color B)
Afghan done in size H crochet hook.
1.In MC chain 107 dc in 4th ch from hook dc in next 4. *sc in next 3. dc in next 6* repeat from * to * to end Ending in 6 dc.
2.With CA join and sl st 6 dc. *Dc in the next 3 sc. sl st next 6 dc*. repeat * to * to end. Cut yarn weave in ends.
3.With MC ch 3 counts as 1 dc. (dc under sl st on previous row)dc in next 5. *sc in next 3 dc. Dc next 6 dc* repeat from * to * to end.
4.With MC ch 3. dc in next dc. *sc next 2 dc. dc in next 7 st* to end. dc in last 2 dc.
5.With CB join and sl st first two dc. *dc in next 2 sc. sl st next 7 dc* repeat * to * to end. dc in last 2 dc Cut yarn and weave in ends.
6.With MC ch 3 dc in next dc. *sc in next 2 dc. dc next 7 dc* repeat * to * to end.
7.With MC ch 3 dc in next 5 st. *sc next 3 dc. dc next 6 st.*
Repeat 2-7 14 more times
Then repeat rows 2 and 3 for last time.
In MC sc around entire piece with 3 sc in each corner. Join to beginning sc.
Ch 3 counts as 1 dc . dc in back loops around afghan with 3 dc in each corner. Join at beginning ch3.
With CB join in any front loop on previous row using a size F hook. ch 1 sc in same loop. ch 3 skip next fl and *sc in next fl ch 3* around. cut yarn weave end ends.
Back with MC ch 3 dc picking up bl of middle chain 3 in row below. *dc in next dc. dc picking up bl of chain 3 in row below* repeat from * to * and remember 3 dc in each corner.
cut yarn weave in ends.
Join with CA to any st. Sc around with 3 sc in corners. join with sl st to first sc. cut yarn weave in ends.
All polka dot color sl stitches are done on one side of blanket. You have to go back to beginning of last row to pick up MC and crochet over the slipped stitches. When doing the border you have polka dot side facing you. this is the front side. The slipped stitch side is the back side.
( I have never wrote a pattern down before. Hope it's clear enough for others to do.)
