particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was
made from Lion Brand Yarn.
This is an entry for the current Vanna's Choice Contest.
This set of over 20 Christmas ornaments follows the Christmas story from the foretelling of the Christ child, to the angel visiting Mary, to Jesus' birth, to the significance of the cross.
Each ornament began with a crocheted cord with a variety of colors of Vanna's Glamour Yarn. Then each "cord" was woven into a decorative and intricate knot complete with crocheted edgings or embellishments. The ornaments glimmer and sparkle in the lights on a Christmas tree or garland (which is difficult to capture in a photo).
Photos show groups of the ornaments hung on a Christmas tree and one close-up of one of the complex knots.
