Popo is part of a series of motiffed owls that I call "The Owl Council," which stems from a fictional world my best friend and me conjured up from daydreams we shared back in high school. In our fictional setting known as Aviator's Wing, a world predominantly populated by birds and flight-seeking humans, The Owl Council advises the leader the Owl King.
Each owl member has a distinct shape to their faces and feathers as well as a specific number of ruffles. Popo was the first owl I designed for the series. As cliche as it sounds, his heart motif reveals his loving persona; Popo is the most approachable member of the council. His color scheme embodies his outgoing character which many may overlook because of his small size.
Popo is my original, my favorite and the wisest of the six.
