This was inspired by the sock monkey toy that I used to play with as a child. I have been seeing earflap hats all over the place with various animals so I wanted to make my own line of them. This project was not filled with its challenges. I had one hat completely knitted that I had to scrap because I was not happy with it. In the end I am very pleased with the end result.
