This is a toque inspired by my sister's Betta fish named "Olaf". As a hobbie, I design and knit Traditional Norwegian inspired toques; this particular project attempted to capture the beauty of Japanese art (including a fish to symbolize "Olaf") but still keeping to the traditional style of Scandinavian knitting (by including a vertical bar design to divide the pattern).
