Texas Flag Afghan
Created By: T Tammy
Craft: crochet
Materials: I used 3 ply yarn (german brand) using 2 balls at a time to make the afghan thicker. I used a total of 36 balls of yarn (12 balls of each color) but I had a little leftover of each color as well. I used a K size crochet hook.
Pattern Source: original:
This afghan is a birthday present for my husband's birthday. It's quite simple to make if you have nobody sneaking around you ^^ I used the double crochet stitch to create this afghan so it worked up pretty fast. I had no pattern on hand so I tried it my own way -> trail and error. The flag is made out of three parts ( red white and blue + the star). I chained 120 for the red as well as for the white part and 60 for the blue part. After I finished each part I joined them by single crocheting them together. All you have left to do is sew on the star and you have a beautiful texas flag.
