My Knit Lola

I started out to make the Lola doll for my grandchild but as I got part way through I decided that I'd have to make one for myself. It was a fun easy to carry around knit since the parts are small and everything fit easily in my knitting bag. I ended up making her in colors to match my personality. Once the knitting was completes I embellished her with crocheted flowers, a pair of earrings, a beaded necklace, and hair in the same brown/gray as mine. I found a pair of child-sized sunglasses that were a perfect fit after my husband sawed the temples to a shorter length. What fun!
