Tree of Life crochet afghan

Craft: crochet
Materials: I used Bernat worsted yarn and it turned out beautifully. I also didn't follow gauge and my blanket turned out bigger then what pattern states (I used seven skeins of 7oz) but I wanted it that way. I did not like the border (I thought it was to fussy) so ommitted it and it has a simple beauty to it.

I made the Tree of Life blanket for my daughter and her new husband. It was the most complex blanket I had ever made but also the most rewarding one. Took some patience but it was well worth it and they love it. They have it on their bed.
