This is a very easy and quick baby blanket, made in garter stitch and with two different colored balls of yarn used at all times. I used circular needles, my first experience with them. I didn't use a pattern, just cast on about 80 stitches and knit until I felt the blanket was long enough. After the blanket was completed, I finished the edges (beginnings and ends of rows) using a crochet hook and made a nicer-looking edge on those two sides of the blanket.
