I wanted to make a baby blanket for my new niece, so I took out my smallest long Knifty Knitter loom and made 12 squares of one neutral color and 13 squares of a contrasting color. Each square has 24 rows of double knit. Once all the squares were completed I used a mattress stitch to combine the squares. Once done I then made little pom-poms and tied them at the junctions of the squares. The last step was to attach tassels at the outer junctions and all four outer corners. I never did follow a design. All my projects, so far, have come from my head.
