Craft: crochet
Materials: I chose to make my shawl with Homespun in the color Rococo-311 using a size K Crochet hook. This is an Advanced Intermediate pattern and has a chart as well as text, which I like.

I love being able to throw something over my shoulders when there is a chill in the air. Something light, cozy and yet stylish. I chose to make a shawl in a very lacy pattern.
So I picked the South Bay Shawlette pattern, modified it to meet my project needs and this is the result.
(The modifications were to omit two double crochets, from 7 to 5, while crocheting in the V-Stitches. The bulky yarn crochets up quickly in 21 rows instead of the 28 listed in the original pattern. The Trim: single crochet the entire scalloped edge.)
