Shortly after my mom passed away, I made this afghan using the colors from my mom's Family Ring. Each color represents an birthstone from every family member, including my parents, their daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I also included mom's favorite color rose and my dad's favorite color. The border is a leaf pattern which I used all the colors.
