I created this soft-sculpture doll, Mrs. Fish, by creating a variation on a crocheted doll pattern I saw in a book. Her silver tail is crocheted in shell stitches and her body and head in single crochet. I separately crocheted the eyelids and sewed them on over her craft-store eyes. The hands I crocheted using picot stitches for fingers.
Mrs. Fish won "Best In Show" at the 2010 Hartford Independent Fair.
