Materials: I had mainly the soft yarns from 'Vanna's' collection of yarns, but almost any type will do.

I had a bunch of scrap yarn, plus requested donations from people I work with and started crocheting 'lap afghans' for the Veterans at the local Vets Home. So far I have donated 30 of them, and still making more. I even came up with a little poem to tag onto each one of them. They have been very well received. They are just wide enough for a wheelchair and easily folded over to fit on a walker. I designed my own pattern.
