I embarked upon this project to dip my toes into new waters - those of community projects - crochet and/or knit alongs. I had a fantastic time blogging through the project and would recommend the CALs or KALs to both newbies and oldies but goodies! I did modify my top to meet my own tastes, for instance I preferred a longer body and did not care to have a tie bottom. Therefore, I simply added to the body and incorporated a Shell with Picot trim at the bottom. The result is a layering top that can be casual and/or a bit dressy. This was my first adult crochet garment (Knitting is more of my forté), but I'm quite pleased with the resulting garment.
