Pantone just released their Color of the Year and it looks like 2020 is going to be all about Classic Blue (19-4052)! Not Cerulean as a certain Miranda Priestly would have you believe. Every year Pantone picks out a color that best represents the year to come. They pull together research from all over the world and determine the trends for the new year.
According to the Pantone team, Classic Blue was chosen because it represents “calm, confidence, and connection”. Hopefully these are qualities that we can all carry with us throughout the new year as we find new ways to build connections with those around us. What’s a better way to celebrate this choice during the season of giving than to get a head start on your Hat Not Hate hats for 2020?
This year Hat Not Hate’s goal is to reach 100,000 blue hats but you don’t have to wait until the new year to join in on the fun and make one of your own. You can use any color of blue but if you want to be on trend, here are five blue picks to help with your new your next Classic Blue project!
