Mother’s Day Show & Tell Event

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

We would like to invite you to an online Show & Tell event with the theme of “Spa Gift For Mom.”  Use some of the free patterns we offer to create washcloths and other hand-made bath accessories.  Add some soaps, body wash, and maybe some scented drawer liners, or even your famous chocolate chip cookies, then wrap them all up in a pretty package on a dish or in a basket.  Take a photo and upload the photo onto our customer gallery by May 12th by filling out the form that includes a place to add your images, and we’ll select our favorites to share with our millions of readers on our newsletter, blog and Facebook page.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

  • Is there a pattern available for the hand towel pictured in the upper right corner?

Jess Says: Hi, Deb. I’ve edited the post to include a link to the Knit Diva Shawl.

  • I would also like the pattern for the hand towel pictured in the upper right hand corner.

Jess Says: Thanks for the feedback, Andrea. The post is now updated to include a link to the Diva Shawl.

  • I’m excited about this as I wanted to do something for mothers day…this is definitely it!

  • I get so excited when I see a post on facebook from Lion. I use your patterns so often and love your yarn. Wish I could afford more of it. Thank you for exciting facebook posts and wonderful yarn. Thank you for an amazing collection of beautiful patterns as well.

  • This will be the first mothers day without my mother. I am from a rather large family so I have an older sister that has stepped up and added me to her list of daughters. I will be with you in spirit as I broke my elbow and just had surgery on it and I can’t knit right now. This is such a wonderful gift.

  • In the picture of the Crochet Bath Collection it show a mitt, 4 wash cloths on the seat and a towel hanging on the back of the chair. In the instruction posted there are the mitt and the 4 wash cloths. I would like to know if there is a pattern for the towel hanging on the chair back and if so, can these instructions be posted
    Thank you

Zontee says: Hi Arlene, as Jess said in her response to previous comments, she has added a link to the “Diva Shawl” which is the item in the photo on the back of the chair.

  • Are these patterns available with knitting instructions?

Zontee says: Hi Kate, we do have some wonderful knit washcloth patterns. Just go to LionBrand.com and type “knit washcloth” into the search box to pull them up.

  • I’m like everyone else. Can I get the directions for making the hand towel in the Bath Collections? Thanks!

Zontee says: Hi Jana, as Jess replied above, she added a link to the “Diva Shawl” which is the item that you are asking about.

  • I found the pattern for the hand towel on the chair in the pic. It is the Diva Shawl pattern.
I really like the colors in the shawl

  • I love this idea for Mother’s Day. Are there any comparable patterns for these items to knit instead of crochet?

    Thanks,
    Carol

Zontee says: Hi Carol, as I said in response to the comment above, you can just go to LionBrand.com and type “knit washcloth” into the search box to bring up those patterns.
