Did You Know…? How to Stay Logged Into

You probably already know that you need a account to access our thousands of free patterns. But did you know that your account also helps you to keep track of patterns you’ve downloaded as PDFs, in case you misplace them? What’s more, it allows you to edit (or delete) any of the pattern ratings, club listings, photos you’ve shared, and other items on our website. It also allows you to keep track of your favorite patterns, and it even makes sure that information to sync to the Lion Brand iPhone app! Plus your account keeps your shopping cart saved and so much more!

Generally, will keep you logged in for a long time, but if you have issues staying logged in, here are two ways you can address this problem:

First, uses “cookies” to save you the trouble of logging in and out. If you’re not staying logged in, it’s most likely that you don’t have “cookies” enabled on your web browser program (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc.). If this is the case, please go to the “Tools” tab of your web browser, select the “Options” menu, and go to the “Privacy” tab to change the settings to accept cookies from our website.

If you prefer not to activate cookies, most web browsers will save your password for you! To use this second option, just go to the “Tools” tab, then “Options,” then “Security” to manage your saved passwords.

Finally, if you’ve simply forgotten your password and just need a reminder, can send you that information in an automatic e-mail! Just go to, click on the “login” button, type your e-mail address in the designated box, and click on the link that says, “Forgot your Lion Brand password? Click here.” You’ll get your password e-mailed to you right away!

    • Hi Claire, it’s possible that the notification is going to your spam filter, so be sure to check that. Otherwise, shoot Customer Service an e-mail at and someone will send you a notification with that info.
