Knitting Olympics Gold

I thoroughly enjoyed the knitting olympics. It was a blast to challenge myself to do new things! Of course my husband might have a little bit of a different view on this.
Before I get into my challenge (look for it here later in the week) We have to have the medal ceremony right?
I went a little bit crazy and decided to have some fun!

Welcome to Loom out Loud!

Hi There! And welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
Some of you may know me from my blog Knitting Without Needles at KnitChat.com; and some of you may not so let me introduce myself as we start this adventure.

My name is Denise. I live in the Midwest with my husband, four children a dog, and varying amounts of hamsters. If that didn’t sound busy enough, I also home school the two oldest children and on the side design patterns for knitting looms.
In my spare time? Well I knit: with looms and on needles.

My adventure with looms started a few years ago when my husband gave me a chunk of our tax return as sort of a bonus.. mad money.. whatever you want to call it. I bought my first set of looms and within a half an hour I had made a baby hat.. within another hour I had made a pair of baby booties and was firmly hooked!

I look forward to sharing my adventures in loom knitting with you! The good the bad and the ugly! So stay tuned!
First up.. a review of my Knitting Olympics project it was a great challenge for me translating needle knit stitch patterns to the knitting loom. I brought home a gold medal for the Loom Knitter's Olympic team so I am happy!

Thanks for stopping by!Come back soon!
