In the past week, I didn't do as much knitting as usual, due to various reasons. For one, I spent the weekend at my parents' house. My sister just had an otoplasty and will have to wear a headband for a few weeks, so I was thinking of knitting her a furry one. I may or may not actually do it, but we'll see.
Tonight is the knitting group meeting, and I'm excited. I also started working on a knit eyepatch design. So far it looks pretty neat. I'll post my pattern when it's finished, perhaps tomorrow. I had thought about making one for a while, and then last night I had a dream where, among other things, I bought an eyepatch for $12. So when I woke, I decided it was time I made one for much less than that. I love pirates, if you couldn't tell. And who wouldn't want a knit eyepatch?

We love pirates too, I have four boys and somebody usually ends up as a pirate for Halloween. I make their costumes mostly but never thought of knitting parts of them. Pirates of the Carribean was so awesome. I'll have to think about expanding on that idea, perhaps fun fur werewolf paws! Have fun at your meeting, I'd love to get one going here.
