Welcome!
| Welcome to the brand new email newsletter "By Kids For Kids" (BK4K). This newsletter features simple, fun yarn projects written by those who know kids best -- other kids! Projects featured in the newsletter include goodies for friends, projects for families, projects to take babysitting and projects to make just for fun! Patterns in the newsletter can be used at birthday parties, slumber parties, or just when everyone needs something interesting to do (which happens a lot over the summer!) By Kids For Kids is filled with easy-to-use patterns, many of which require little or no previous knitting or crochet experience, but which will be a ton of fun! So if you are a kid, have kids or grandkids, if you work with kids or if you are just a kid at heart, enjoy! -- Elizabeth and Emily -- |

Learn to Knit or Crochet with Pocket Pets Do you want a pet of your own? Are circumstances preventing you from having one?? Does the thought of cleaning up all their messes make you cringe? Do you know how to crochet or knit? Or do you want to learn? If so, we have the pet for you! This week, we start at the beginning -- simple knit stitch and simple single crochet. In our next issue, we'll feature a new pet and a new technique. And each week, there will be a new pet to make and a new technique to learn. So first, visit our section on Learn to Knit or Learn to Crochet or find a friend who knows how. Then get a little fun fur and your hook or needles and get started! |
Try the duckling (knit or crochet), bunny (knit or crochet) or mouse (knit or crochet)
These little darlings are easy to care for and even more fun to play with. Simple to make, they can be put together at parties or made as gifts for the special people in your life. |
