Lion Brand and Vanna White, our corporate spokesperson, are highlighted in the wonderful August issue of Michaels Create! magazine, available now at your local Michaels store.

Vanna was the host for Lion Brand’s annual fashion show at the Hobby Industries of America wholesale trade show. The August Michaels Create! features an article - with photos - about the show that took place earlier this year. An added treat at this year’s show was the debut of Vanna’s daughter, Giovanna, as one of the models!

As if all this were not enough, the magazine also contains the pattern for a sleeveless knitted top of Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton yarn! And check out the Lion Brand ad that features a classic, easy-to-make cardigan in Homespun in the Tudor color. It’s perfect for late summer and fall evenings!

WHAT’S NEW ON THE WEBSITE

Summer can be hot and sticky and not the time to be working on large projects such as afghans. So, for July, we offer small, portable projects to tuck in your beach bag or work on in the car. You can be comfortable and still knit or crochet away the summer!
