Keeping Warm in Winter 

It is a whole new year, it's winter and it is COLD! So, in this issue, we feature some great projects for keeping warm in style.  

We really love our new Knifty Knitter and created two new brand patterns for you to make with it in additional to our regular crochet and knitting patterns.

Little Red Riding Hood's Hooded Scarf

We made this super-warm hooded scarf using the granite relief stitch and Wool-Ease.  

Wrap it around or tuck it in your coat collar and you're set for the coldest breeze!

Knifty Knitter Warm Little Muff

Using our Knifty Knitter, we made this warm little muff in a single evening using Wool-Ease Thick and Quick and Fun Fur.

The ends of the knitting roll naturally, which creates the pretty 'fur' edging.

Warm little winter muff

We've done crochet versions of our favorite ear-warmer and neck-warmer.  They use super-soft, stretchable Tiffany yarn and are SO soft and wonderful.

What a great way to keep warm in style!

Beginner Project - Doll Afghan

Are you teaching someone to crochet or to knit? 

Do dishcloths fail to inspire?

Our very simple doll afghan is a great opportunity to practice the basic knitting stitches in the pretty 'purl ridges' pattern or single crochet.

Pattern is available for three doll sizes up to 'American Girl'
